so whats your guys favorite green day song?

its definitely basket case or boulevard of broken dreams ... 21 guns or american idiot ... when September ends or good riddance ... damn even her is a good song ... i cant pick

I have really outgrown Green Day to be honest. i used to listen a lot to their music, but I rarely find my self putting on one of their albums these days.

I actually don't like green day, but the only one I can sit through is:

 

 

 

But that's mostly because it reminds me of the 90s when I hung out with my older brothers.

PC is Intel Core i5 6400, GIgabyte H170 Gaming 3, Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x4GB 2400Mhz ,Sandisk Ultra Plus 128GB, WD Blue 1TB, NZXT S340, ASUS Geforce GTX 960. Fractal Design Tesla R2 650W. http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/793XNG. Graphics card choices don't always have to be dictated on performance. If you want the game stream and power consumption of the GTX 970 get that. If you want raw performance of the R9 390 get that. In the end we are all gamers, so what if your buddy gets an extra 5 fps?

I'm not a green day fan, but a friend of mine introduced me to probably my favourite song of theirs, which is the sassafras roots demo. Can't really explain why, but I just quite like it.

I've been listening to a fair bit of Green Day of late. Which is funny because I really stopped listening to them for a good 5 or 6 years. But I started listening to them again late 2013 when ¡Uno!, ¡Dos! & ¡Tré! came out then I saw them in 2014 for the first time, which was nice since I had been a fan since the Warning album, but I wouldn't go again, too many underage girls I felt weird being there in all honesty, especially how a lot of them kept screaming out to do sexual thing to Billi Joe, someone who is now 3x their age.

 

I've been listening to a lot of Insomniac of late, which is as good or better than Dookie imo. So i'm gonna go with Geek Stink Breath, when Mike was a bit more imaginative with the bass lines which were fucking killer, also the lyrics are pretty dark.

 

But I really love the majority of their stuff from Dookie to American Idiot, those 10 years was their golden period. 21st Century Breakdown to me seemed way too forced and were trying to write American Idiot II, and ¡Uno!, ¡Dos! & ¡Tré! really should've been one album. There's some great songs across those 3 albums, but holy shit there's a lot of filler.

Oh geez there are a lot. Homecoming/Letterbomb/99 Revolutions/Walk Away/Dirty Rotten Bastards/Amy (about Amy Winehouse)/Last of the American Girls/Carpe Diem... the list goes on.
