so i was driving through town and noticed the price of gas is $1.99/gallon...

So what has been going on recently? I know it fell almost a year ago but it seems this is the lowest gas has ever been around here.

 

I havent kept up with the news, but is it bad? I know a lot of people in the oilfield have been losing their jobs around here, one of which is a friend. 

 

 

 

 

I remember many years ago when the science channel aired shows like "What if all the oil ran out" and it showed dramatizations of gas being $15/gallon this year lol :lol:

3.19 last I filled up. They just hiked the gas tax again. Yay for paying for roads in Seattle when you don't live near there.

Damn, where I am (southeast michigan) gas is like $2.60 a gallon...

 

I wish it would go down more lol, if we had $2 a gallon then I'd fill up my tank for like $30 instead of closer to $40..

Nice, my 2000 Chrysler 300M can get me across the state (roughly 200 miles) and only use 6.67 or so gallons, so roughly $17 or so depending on the price of gas.

My dad and I were at the gas station yesterday, $2.79 for regular around these parts isn't so bad.

Because we're home to the strictest emissions law in the state, And that also means gas here is wildly different in CA, hence no 93 octane, just 87, 89, and 91 octane.

CA, it's still about $3.

 

Arabian oil producers are cutting prices to kill of US oil basically. They claim they can live on $40/barrel oil, and so does the US.

Lets see who raises the prices back up.

 

Even if the prices are dropping, I support electric and Hybrid cars more.
