Whats the best FPS game of all time?

Tbh I never really played fps's when I was younger so I just sort of avoid them now but I'll have to start buying some one day. Closest thing I've played to a out and out FPS is Transformers 3 and I was a God at that game back in the day.

If we are talking about pure FPS then for me it is definitely Serious Sam Classic: The Second Encounter.

If we are talking about lenght and story while staying within the old school FPS then for me it is definitely Half-Life series.

If we are talking about multiplayer then this one is really hard to choose but I would say Arma 3 (HC servers where only 1st person mode is allowed).

But my all times favourite military game that ever existed which is FPS/Simulator is Operation Flashpoint or you may know it under name Arma: Cold War Assault (nothing beats this game.. ever!).
