Idk, I'd have to drain my loop and take out my classy and sell it w/ the block to pay for the card.  Although now that I know my 980 OC's like a bat out of hell I should probably be able to get a pretty good price out of it w/ the block.

 

And I'm currently saving up money to trade my 4770k for my friend's 4790k because it does 5 ghz at 1.3v.  Would be really useful for me as it'll only cost me about 100 dollars, and it'll save me from wanting to upgrade for a while.

Oh wow that's awesome! Now if you get a Lightning you'll be set, although I'm sure we're going to have to wait on EK for a while before they have a custom block for it.

 

 

He got it to do cinebench single thread at 5.2 ghz 1.44v, and his board isn't the greatest ever, so I should probably be able to do firestrike runs w/ all 8 threads at 5.2 ghz 1.475v or something, that will give me some huge benchmark scores for HWBOT.

 

I just hope the memory controller in it is good enough to handle the timings and speed that my ram can do.

It would be good if it was round £700 to £750 as the Classified is £620 here in the UK

I want to see pictures of the top of the card(what most of us see in our PC anyways)... I don't care much about the looks of the fans. So far is not bad, I don't like much the Jet logo on the backplate though. Of course if the performance vs price ratio is good that'd be the biggest plus and not the looks.

Haha yeah actually Im tired of dealing with SLI issues and not every game supporting it as well as getting VRAM capped since I only have 4GB, so I'm just picking up one Lightning for now and possibly a second one sometime later on.

I don't like the looks of it as well as previous generations. It seems like a lot of coolers that looked great received upgrades that almost ruined the look for me. The gigabyte G1 gaming, the sapphire tri X, and now this one. They all looked perfect before.

Haha yeah actually Im tired of dealing with SLI issues and not every game supporting it as well as getting VRAM capped since I only have 4GB, so I'm just picking up one Lightning for now and possibly a second one sometime later on.

 

Well well well... that's exactly the reason I'm going for a 980Ti... except in my case it will be a big upgrade(I think) since I'll be upgrading from 2 780's. SLI is awesome but meh I'd like to have one single card.

Exactly. SLI is amazing in certain games but it can be a real headache sometimes. Going with a single powerful card is always better.

I would never use exchange rates, it never works out in the UK, I would be looking at £700 if it is nearly 900 euros

 

If you look at the Classified price which is 820 euros, the Classified in the UK is £620, so it is £200 off the price, which means the Lightning will be £695 in the UK
