It should be better than the Classy tbh, cooler is amazing & memory seems to be good.  It is however a bit more I think classy is only 679 or 700.

 

It looks like the only thing left that can challenge the KPE is the Matrix which is coming September apparently.  Hopefully they put Sammy mems on it

It all depends on how much work they put into it, since currently the KPE doesn't have any competition on the bleeding edge of performance.

 

If they take the time to properly do it with high bin chips & memory heater (strix actually has this but you have to do some modding to the card) as well as getting Samsung memory chips & good good power delivery we should be seeing the KP get some competition.

The only 2 reviews I've seen so far have em clocking somewhat low in terms of clock speeds compared to the KP, although we've only seen 2 reviews I think.

 

Plus it doesn't have v droop switches, nor an XOC bios yet like the KP does.

 

I see a LOT of kp's hitting over 1520 on air, a few guys were hitting 1560+ on air, was pretty crazy.

Not sure, the guys in the OCN thread I've seen buying them have been buying basically all the variations, so I'm unsure who's hitting the crazy clocks and who isn't.

Most of the people even the guys with low ASIC are still hitting 1500+, Vince said on air they should all do atleast 1500-1520

 

 

Btw about the review thing, I feel it's better just to lurk in the owner's clubs of OCN, and see what people are hitting to compare to.  I honestly think a LOT of "overclock" sections of reviews that reviewers do are half-assed and the guys truly don't know what they're doing.

I can get my Msi 980Ti 6G to 1515Mhz without VOLTAGE, with lot's of artifacts in Witcher 3 but in SOME games I don't see any.

Voltage isn't something that helps maxwell on ambient cooling, in the review they said they achieved less mhz w/ adding volts and voltage & maxwell on ambient cooling has been a known thing for a while now

 

Same thing with my 980, I can run 1610 @ stock volts in firestrike, if I try to add any volts it just crashes.
