Not really. If we could actually get good batteries then they will be a thing. But for now having a watch die at lunch time is beyond stupid as a watch should last for a month or more.

Not so much that its in its infancy, but rather that Apple released a rubbish version first on purpose so they can make another 20 revisions in the future and claim each one to be the most revolutionary thing ever made.

The Apple watch is actually very good, probably the best attempt at a smart watch yet, only held back by a few performance issues and battery life

If its charged by USB you can get one of those things that can hold enough charge to recharge a cellphone up to 5 times.

But I can check the time on my phone anyway.
