Keep in mind that the high price is because it is from a well regarded automotive tools brand.

but I bet it didn't say SNAP-ON on it so everyone knows you are rich or obsessed with tool status!!  I need to get a nice screwdriver (like yours from ace or something NOT a 60$ snapon) JUST for pc work since mine are always getting spread around and used for various tasks

You should be able to find one in pretty much any hardware store. Or check automotive stores.

Edit: Maybe not specifically a Snap On, but something similar.

Linus says it's his favorite one ever, and it makes an awesome sound. He uses it in all of his build guides. Does anyone know what it is? (this isn't a trivia question, I legitimately want to know)

Glad I'm not the only one, there's something strangely satisfying about that screwdriver. I'd just twist it to listen to it all day and never screw anything (what else is new lol)

Personally I prefer a longer screwdriver. Like 30 or so centimeters long. Long enough to reach trough a Noctua D15 and the top left corner motherboard screw in a Define R5 and so on.

The amount of time and effort saved by a good quality tool is worth the extra cost. Also, powered screw drivers are typically not a great idea when working with PCs or small devices, because it can be difficult to accurately modulate the speed of the driver and end up stripping threads or deforming screw heads. Snap-On tools often come with a lifetime warranty too (I'm not sure if the exact screwdriver linked above does though, so don't quote me on that...).

Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? Well, that depends on your usage.
