Windows 10 a steaming pile of s**t?

Tweakforce_LG

Is it me or is windows 10 very slow to boot, especially with the black screen bug. And sleep decides to work when it wants

Works just fine for me

Might be drivers, try uninstalling them and then re-install. Chipset drivers meant that my PC couldn't sleep in windows 8

But the clean install will lose my files -_-. Apparently the slow boot is a known bug. But i dont see Microsoft pushing out any updates any time soon

Should we burn at the stake or drown someone at the river?

I think a good drowning is better as a sacrafice. Fires more for purging or removing somthing.

In this case I think a river drowning sacrafice would be more appropriate.

That being said a good burning before the release might have worked to exorcise the demons of windows 8.

Windows 8 - Bad

Windows 8.1 - Pretty Good

Windows 10 - Bad?

8.1 isn't a new OS though, it's just a service pack. I wouldn't call it pretty good either. It only made it better for tablet users.

MS did essentially consider 8.1 a new OS... For me (at least on a laptop with a multi-touch trackpad and a mouse that can side scroll) 8.1 is fine.

I appreciate 8.1 because it was something different it wasn't that normal Windows feel and I loved that (I prefer OS X and Linux (Ubuntu, Fedora and Elementary))

10 while being a fairly decent aesthetic motion forward, functionally isn't what I've come to like about 8.1. The difference of 8.1 is why I like it.

(Even though somethings in it could have been improved, like how modern and desktop stuff still isn't that streamlined and I do like the fact that modern apps can be used windowed (something not found in 8.1)) I do appreciate other elements of 10 but for now some elements of it make me not really too 100% for W10 nor do those same elements make me 100% against W10.

As a Windows tablet user, I STRONGLY disagree. It was still terrible. Win 8/8.1 is terrible without a keyboard, especially if you want to do more than use the modern apps.

Whoever was the genius that decided the virtual keyboard shouldn't popup automatically when tapping a typing field(like it would on Android, iOS, etc..), should be fired. Having to press that keyboard button every single times was extremely annoying.

The tablet mode of Windows 10, at the very least, makes the OS a hell of a lot better just for that.
