Do these coolers fit in my case

But, do you know if they mesure the depth of the case from side to side or from socket to side?

Get this one, it will fit on your case and cool better and quieter than the hyper 212 evo

https://www.alternate.be/be-quiet!/Pure-Rock-CPU-koeler/html/product/1146249?tk=7&lk=6098

This is the one i recomended before, it will fit and be better than a hyper 212 evo

https://www.alternate.be/Cryorig/H7-CPU-koeler/html/product/1174912?tk=7&lk=6098

This one costs a bit more but would outperform the other coolers

https://www.alternate.be/Thermalright/Macho120-Rev-A-CPU-koeler/html/product/1110491?tk=7&lk=6098

The measurment for cooler clearence is meant to mean that the height of a given cooler is the max allowed in that case. Since a milimiter can be within margin i rather go with something i know will fit, and all 3 options i presented will fit, will perform better than a hyper 212 evo and will be quieter.

I'm stuck with choosing a cooler for my pc.

I have an AMD FX-8320 and the stock cooler sucks.

I'm planning to buy an aftermarket cooler but i can't find if the coolers will fit in my case.

My case is the Sharkoon vg4-w and i'm having doubts between the cooler master hyper 212 evo and the cooler master seidon 120v ref 2.

If someone has this case and one of these coolers in it please answer my question.

Thanks :)

Both coolers will fit based on the specs of the case and coolers.

The Hyper 212 Evo is 159mm tall, your case allows 160mm, so technically it fits but for me it would be too tight. The CRYORIG H7 is a similarly priced cooler that's better and not as tall, so should be better for you overall. I wouldn't try a water cooler on your case because there are no rad support specs on the site and that could mean no clearence. Also, 120mm watercoolers are not worth it.

It would have to be from socket to side because that's where the cooler will be sitting.

Thanks for the answer but if i would go with the termalright, is it gonna fit?

I have the MSI 970 gaming motherboard.

Isn't it gonna touch the ram sticks, because i can't find how far they are from the cpu socket :/

If you got high profile memory the fan may not fit on that side, if that's the case, you can put the fan on the other side of the heatsink

EDIT

That picture doesnt make a lot of sense tho, that mobo has 2 dimm slots on each side, so compatibility would be compromised, in a normal ATX mobo it should be fine.
