I buy competitive FPS games for consoles because I still suck major balls with a mouse a keyboard, despite three years experience...

wow. I can't use a controller in FPSes after using keyboard and mouse, they just plain suck for FPS.

Competitive FPS games for console? Those  don't exist ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

/jk

I lay CoD on console too :P

Bought an off-brand psu because LEDs. I'm a sucker for all things blue led equipped. After hearing of it failing a lot, I bought an EVGA one to replace it, and still haven't installed it.

Living on the edge is great! I take that back, I'm just lazy.

but even then, controllers suck ass.

True. Mouse and keyboard are still better. But I guess you're all on an even playing field or something

-I've purchased multiple peripherals and PC components from brick and mortar stores like Best Buy and Micro Center, knowing they were cheaper on Newegg, because, like most of my generation, I am impatient and want things now.

-I couldn't give two sh*ts about 3D Printing, Drones, Mining, and all the other tech crazes.

-I once stole like 10 sticks of 512MB DDR ram from unused computers at my dads workplace because I thought I could use them. They found out and made me put them back.

-X99 is turning out to be more of a hassle than my old X58 system and it's so hard for me to admit it. While I love the hardware I have now, I lament at the money I could've saved by going to Z97.

Im using a closed water cooler (H100i) purely for asthetics. Not even overclocked one bit. I don't even think I've used Corsair Link at all to change anything but the LED colors LOL

Everyone has some dark secret about tech that you are just too embarrassed to talk about. Maybe you're still using a trackball mouse (gasp!), or maybe you still run Windows Vista!

If everybody can get these things off their chest here at once, we'll all feel better I'm sure ;)

I'll start:  I really think that Ducky keyboards are pretty ugly.  :(

I have a Dell Dimension E510 with a Pentium HT and I think 2 or 1 GB Of RAM. With..DUN DUN DUN...WINDOWS XP!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a 'gaming' build that's way too overpowered for anything that i actually use on it.

When my room's cold I take off my cases side panel and use the power of my AMD GPU (AKA heater) to warm it up

I often play games on my mac because I can't be bothered setting up my build (not enough desk room)

I love scissor switch keyboards

I have multiple mobile phones that i've bought because they were a steal but still use my iPhone 6 whilst the others collect dust

Scrapyard Build Total Cost: $268AUD

Multiple times people have accused me of having a SCUF or rapid fire controller in Black Ops 2, but I don't have that.

Yeah, but I mean, it's an advantage. I personally used to put my thumb in a weird place, so I could put the bony bit down on X for jumping if I wanted to.

I have used a SCUF controller at my friend and honestly, it was not much more compared to a regular controller.

You know what is a real advantage? Monitor vs. TV

I've once soldered another PCIe cable to my brothers PSU to power his new SLI setup. Sometimes under heavy load it crashes and I haven't told him why.
