Sold my 690 and got 2x 760's becuse the 690 drivers sucked and gave me poor fps. A week later I realised there was a new driver to fix the issues. Still happy with my 2x 760s :)

I dropped my SSD from chest level to the ground one time.  It was a Crucial MX100 128GB SSD.  Haha.

Yeah I like Macbook Pro's, they are good laptops.  I would never buy a desktop from Apple though, I have my gaming PC for all my desktop needs.

I think of myself as a member of the PC MASTER RACE.. I'm not. I use a PS3. I don't have the money for a computer. Please don't judge. *sigh*

4/20 would not judge again - IGN

Probably mounting my H60 wrong so the pre-applied TIM didn't spread properly, then just pushing it to the right place while not giving a ****. All of this with an i7 4790k...

I need to re-mount it with new TIM sometime, my temperatures are ~5C over what they should be because of this.

That or using 7 fans without rubber mounting brackets. Loud as ****. Also something I need to do, That way I could run them full-speed.

"Normandy" i7 4790K - GTX 970 - Phantom 410 (Gun metal) - Z97 Extreme4 (asrock) - 128GB Crucial SSD - 1TB WD HDD - H60 Refurb. - 7 case fans | G710+ Keyboard, G230 Headset, Acer GN246HL Monitor.

Quick thoughts on system: I7 is extremely quick and I'm glad I spent the extra for hyper-threading. I regret my decision to get the GTX 970, it has horrible coil whine. There isn't any excuse for this terrible whine I and others are having. I HIGHLY recommend a 144hz monitor. Future Improvements/upgrades: Rubber fan mounts, basic speakers, more ram (for a total of 16gb), replace GPU.

144hz is love. 144hz is life. I like to submit unfinished posts then do about 20 edits. I like the Night Theme too.

I used to run 3 500GB drives in RAID 0. No backups. Two of the drives were from an old external enclosure I got for $10 at a tag sale. Never failed me. (Running a 250GB SSD and two of said 500GB drives with no RAID setup right now.)

My Windows 8.1 key came off r/softwareswap. Only my first key of Windows 8 (Back when it first came out and was $15. It stopped working after a couple reinstalls.) and my laptops with 7 keys on them are completely legit.

I'll post here for my orientation to the forum!

I'm running an HP envy pre-built system that I paid far too much for. The 3450 it came with is still a great CPU so I haven't bothered to upgrade yet, but the H61 motherboard is a pile of crap. My next upgrade will CPU/motherboard/RAM. :-D

I can't decide what case I want to have and I didn't like my CM-Silencio so I took out all of the hardware and put it onto the sidepanel....... its okay though... since I have a degree in IT I am aware of my stupidity and ashamed every day.

I forgot to plug in the 6 pin power connector to the motherboard and wondered why the computer would turn on then restart straight away.
