Who hear has a clear solution to this problem, I suffer random break outs here and there but not as worse as it used to be back when I was hitting puberty. The stuff the doctor recommended didn't work, tea tree oil just dries my face out completely, apricot scrubs cause micro tears in the skin so not recommended, honey mask didn't do any justice, steaming my face with boiling water doesn't make a difference, ice cube on the affected area just makes my skin go red, I am now trying toothpaste but doubt it might make a difference. I really don't want to fork out a shit ton of cash for those ridiculous light treatment things.

/thread update;

It's like I'm going through puberty again, my face has been relatively clean for the last 8 'months, but suddenly now my skin is flaring up, with spots growing literally in multiple numbers like on my forehead.

Suffer until puberty goes away. That's my plan and I have lots of acne.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Get a towel, put it in hot water, ring it out, let it sit on your face for a while. Always worked for me

It's puberty, you've just gotta deal with... Personally, when i went through puberty i was lucky enough to never get acne, i'd just get the occasional spot from touching my face too much and became a hairy biatch.

I wouldn't advise on using toothpaste either; a friend of mine once tried that it just burnt his skin, got a good giggle out of that. Just use a face scrub, Like Simple or something, but there's not much you can do.

Usually when I went to school I had a pretty "oily" face and it took me a while to just get a basic solution and just wipe my face down with a rag or a towel that I just kept with my personal belongings, yeah it's kind of weird to carry one around but it worked and it's just one of those things where you just don't care, not always for everyone but again worked for me either that or when I started doing it I was like 18 or 17 and that's usually the age where it stops as I've been told

Some of you may not like me for this, but I've never had bad acne ever.

Welcome to Puberty !

Have you try washing your face regularly with water and wash with skin wash 2 times a day ?

I would suggest talking to your dermatologist and see if there's another medication that he could prescribe for you, there's plenty of them out there that work differently.

Keep in mind, nothing works instantly.

Trust me I have been through the stages of puberty long enough, my face is recovering back to normal but have that random dirty spot in places that I hate like my forehead, I wash my face like multiple times and apply cleansing product twice and moisturise

I wish there was a quick fix, it's a killer especially when you have an event to attend and don't want to be photographed with this crap sticking out on your face.

Yeah, it sucks. Best thing is to just work through it. The nice thing is that photos can be retouched pretty well usually and it shouldn't be a big deal.

I have been sticking to one solution but it's not making that much of a difference, popping it will only induce a scar, photoshop has that feature to tone up, guess I will be editing pictures all day after the event.

Oh one major thing that I had or doctors did not f****** mention to me at all and it was somewhat obvious was the environment around you/myself. For example, there had just been so many times where my life just got so busy by the time I got home all I needed and wanted to do was just sleep, forgetting so about the things around me like my bed sheets, hell even the air, it's not just your face it's the things you touch/I touched - it's kind of like thinking outside the box slightly, keeping these clean though will definitely help as I saw changes doing so after the cleansing fairly quick
