Should I buy a console or build a PC?

Games on PC are half price or less from G2A.com so that alone does it for me

Definitely pc, together my brothers and I have owned a ps2, 3, 4, Xbox 350 and a Wii and it has taught us that nothing beats a pc.

 

Anyone interested in helping me with my first console killa rig?

 

I already have a bare bones, the Asrock M8 Z87, you can Google the specs. I need some advice on CPU & GPU, I am looking at 8 gigs of hyper x sodium ram and a standard 250 gig sad and a WD 1tb black had.

 

Looking forward to some good ideas from U pc building geniuses

Pros and Cons of gaming on a computer vs gaming on a console: I play both on an Xbox One and a PC.

 

PC:

 

Pros:                                                                                                                         Cons:

Modding                                                                                                                    More expensive, to achieve better graphics, higher resolution and higher framerates than a console.

Higher Resolution (higher price)                                                                               More maintnance, for people who arent tech savvy and just want to play games, PC isnt the right choice

Better Graphics (higher price)                                                                                  The need to upgrade expensive parts to keep up with the latest games

Higher Framerates (higher price)

A vast game library filled with crazy and fun games not availible on a console.

Generally cheaper games

 

Console:

 

Pros:                                                                                                                                                         Cons:

Easy interface                                                                                                                                           Is unable to achieve a simple 1080p resolution

Not very expensive                                                                                                                                    Lower framerates (allthough a PC to the same price will not perform much better)

Better exclusives (consoles generally have acsess to exclusive triple A titles which the PC does not.      Lower graphical capabilities.

You dont have to be very tech savvy                                                                                                        Very little modding options

Something that you can set up in the living room and enjoy with family and friends.

 

 

If i missed anything please let me know, but i think i pretty much covered it, this comes from a guy who enjoys both PC gaming and Console gaming :)

No, i actually bought the Watch Dogs season pass, and the key was, suprise suprise, USED! :P tried to contact the seller but with no luck, i just cant bother anymore, it was 4 dollars :P just kinda annoying

I got banned for trying to sell my FC4 code from an Nvidia promotion that I thought was unused but wasn't and the fuckers want to see my federal ID to un-ban me like fuck off

It's all about what you want to do with it.

If you just want a decent gaming experience or want to play certain exclusives, I definitely recommend a console because of it's simplicity and cheap price. If you want higher graphical quality and modification options, I'd recommend a PC. It doesn't matter what you're playing on as long as you're entertained, some people yearn for high quality stuff, while others is pleased with more "standard" conditions.

Well alright...

If you want a normal, good or super gaming graphics get a PC with either a 960, 970 or 980.

If you want the worse kind of gaming, get a console but with that you won't need to plug more than 2 wires (I think?) instead of 5.

Pros: Cheaper games, backwards compatibility, better graphics, unlocked framerate, higher resolutions, better community, more than just gaming ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

 

Cons: a little more complicated but once you've learned it it's pretty easy

It depends on what kind of person you are.

 

If you're some simple man who just likes sitting down on a couch with friends and family and play some fun Co-Op games and cares little about specs, an Xbox One or PS4 is for you.

 

If you're a spec loving mad man who likes having an all in one solution to everything, and cares more about graphics, realism, and maturity in your games/life, a PC is for you, but be warned, if you are looking for some HardCore gaming set up, be prepared to shell out some cash.
