Hey im looking for a antivirus that will not attack my system load much. Currently i have AVG and it kinda smacks my memory and cpu usage. It never turns off. any recs on good free software? Also i have hitman pro and malwarebytes and ccleaner.

All ya need is

Microsoft security essentials/Windows defender on windows 10

and malware bytes

anything more and your pananiod or doing something sketchy.

if you go into the AVG settings you can change how much it sues your resources...

also turn scheduled scans off

So dont even need anything else?

i have MSE

and run malware bytes once every week or 2 weeks

 

 

i mean i use ad block too, so no ad virus 

 

 

My pc has been Clean for 3+ years

Same here. MSE and malwarebytes will be enough for most users. Just gotta be smart about what you download and where you go.

What do you guys think about Avast?

I use Avast personally and like it... as for second opinion scanners I alternate between malewarbytes and hitmanpro

I use Viper security with malwarebytes. (viper is amazing)
