  1. Wow luke and linus are following this dude

  2. I didn't have a reason to sign up for it when it was free so I don't plan on paying for it anytime soon either. I don't need to see videos a week earlier. Don't get me wrong; I love LMG. They've been a massive influence on me. When I become financially stable enough to directly support LMG, I'd rather do it through merch, forum donations, etc. IF I was going to pay for a video streaming service, it'd be Youtube Red (albeit at a much higher cost) simply because Youtube has the channels I watch. All of them. Including LTT and Techquickie. Even then, that's a "lesser of two evils" deal for me. I'
  3. Rig name: It's a 2012ish model Alienware Aurora R4 with a new video card so no name. Cpu: i7-3820 Gpu: Zotac GTX 970 (OC'd 106% PL, +190 core, +75 mem) Ram: 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz Score: 7.3
  4. So.... it's PhysX? Because it just looks like PhysX. My 970 is as green as anybody's and I still find most Gameworks/PhysX effects to be 'ehh neat', but AMD users really aren't missing much. I hate the exclusivity stuff, but at this point I'm just indifferent. However, I look forward to seeing how the full release patch affects my performance.
  5. My rig can handle it well enough, but I won't be looking to buy one for probably 2 or 3 years so hopefully games will actually be developed for it so I don't have to spend $600+ for VR Netflix. Hell, I'll probably have built an entirely new computer by then.
  6. It's just as awkward and hilarious as I had hoped!
  7. Packard Bell (circa 1998) running a Pentium 100. Played Centipede and "Jump Start" educational video games on it. I recently pulled it out of our attic and dismantled it.
  8. Hmm.. That is oddly low performance. Make sure your drivers and the games themselves are up to date. Monitor your temps and clock speeds to ensure the card isn't thermal throttling for some weird reason. I have no clue how well-optimized BLOPS 3 and Rocket League are, but I'm fairly sure that's about half the performance you should be getting.
  9. The sad thing is, there's probably multiple groups that all have the same plan which is just gonna make it worse. I genuinely feel bad for all the kids, parents, and Sony/Microsoft employees that are gonna have a crappy holiday because killing PSN and XBL is the fashionable thing to do during the holidays.
  10. What you said^^ AMD has good intentions, but yelling "Open Source" about everything they create doesn't make it better by default or easier to implement (Lest we forget Mantle??). Whatever Green and Red do, it's still gonna be up to the game dev's to make sure the "game works" (Hahaha puns...) at all. I have a 970 in my main pc and I'll be the first to say nVidia royally screwed up letting Arkham Knight release in such a busted state with their branding all over it. I assume they were left in the dark to some extent about its performance or couldn't end the brand deal due to contractual obliga
  11. I'd definitely watch, but I hope they can find ways to condense the series. It feels a little unnecessary to watch people shop around for parts for half the season. This is obviously very subjective, but I'd prefer more time spent (during the actual competition and in editing) on the building/troubleshooting and test running of the systems. Or at least even it all up to roughly the same amount for each. If something funny or interesting happens during part shopping, obviously include it, but otherwise just cut to "We got this ____ for $____." I'd like to see 3 15-25 min episodes (My personal
  12. This too ^ Yeah, true! I'm stuck on 6 down/ 0.5 up until I move in like 2 years
  13. My PC can, but my 6 mb/s download speed can't.
  14. Upload speed is usually much lower than download so ISP's can offer cheaper packages since most people don't upload much.
