Posted July 8, 2015 will my r7 260x bottleneck my i7 4790k No because bottleneck will mean that its holding back some component and your gpu will not slow your cpu down tho in some cases it will On 11/19/2014 at 2:14 PM, Syntaxvgm said: You would think Ubisoft would support the Bulldozer based architectures more given their digging themed names like bulldozer, Piledriver, Steamroller and Excavator. Posted July 8, 2015 No because bottleneck will mean that its holding back some component and your gpu will not slow your cpu down tho in some cases it will I was agreeing with your entire post until that last bit.. Pretty sure it wont at all in any situation. Upgrading a CPU to a more powerful one won't make the GPU slow the new CPU down. Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
