The Pokémon Thread

minibois

Well part of the reason was I didn't play Pokémon for five years. I didn't get back into it until last year.

I'm going to try chaining with the Poké Radar and see how that goes.  Others have said that it works but we'll see.

Tried it a bit, but I am so terrible with it..

I think chain fishing is easier

Well, only one is for competitive play :P the others are just equally good breeding products. Really trying hard for a shiny one with good IVs tho. <3

I have a shiny froakie with 31/30/31/30/31/30, get jelly.

That Protean ability has screwed me over more times than I care to admit  -_-

Only Greninja's as well, never encountered a Kecleon with Protean (probably because Kecleon isn't very good).

Protean is so freakin nasty, mayn

Gotta get one of these frogs trained up for dat sweep.

Git Gud.

Too bad that greninja is frail af. If it doesn't carry a focus sash, it can get OHKO'd by many things that are faster than it. For example 252 neutral nature special attack Draco meteor from Noivern will KO it even with minus 2 sp.Atk.

Gonna be that dick and tell you to breed for it with the masuda method. You can at least control somewhat it's IVs to be used in competitive battling instead of it having 3IVs only :/

talking about being a bad loser.

But how did you actually get a shiny legendary? tried that for ages and never succeeded, just challenge it>reboot when it isn't shiny? or is there more behind it?

May the light have your back and your ISO low.

This is not legit Pokemon, it's just online so you can set your Pokemon up how you want without having to spend time breeding and stuff..

But you can get legendary shiny Pokemon by just encountering them. There is a 1/9000 something change to encounter them normally, so just soft reset and keep on trying..

i see, thanks.

Might really get into pokemon again, although I'm wondering if it's worth to get a 3DS just for that.

get a 2ds it's cheaper and has nothing less than a 3ds instead of not having 3d, which is not great to begin with.

In fairness on the new 3ds it is decent...

You can even get them for cheap on Marktplaats, or get a 2DS with Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire (latest Pokemon games) included. Which is like 120 euros
