oh sht.... guess i might dive into pokemon again.

Should have a OP golem on a old saphire save IIRC, teached it flamethrower through TM and soloed the league with it a couple of times, somehow i still saw damage increasing after lvl wasn't there also some mechanic behind that? like use it 100 times for 10%dmg increase?

May the light have your back and your ISO low.

You are talking about EV's.

Those are points like the Pokemon's talent, more training in certain thing, better they get at Defense or Attack or whatever.

But you probably have those maxed out at lvl 100

Flamethrower golem isn't that good anymore due to the special/physical split made in generation 4. Since flamethrower is a special move and golem has only 55 special attack in base stats it's not that good :P

:o Please tell me you have a moxie pinsir! Or a contrary spinda!

I have a Moxie Pinsir, no Contrary Spinda though. Don't have a Spinda friend safari

not really, no. IIRC it was more of a hidden mechanic, which allowed to make attacks more powerfull when used a certain amount of times even with EVs and the pokemon's lvl maxed out.

read that on serebii.net somewhere a long time ago(around the time i still played)

example:

flamethrower when thought was at 1.00 relative power, after killing X amount of move use, relative power becomes 1.05, when using move X amount of times-1 relative power is still 1.00, relative power only increases after X amount of uses with the same move on the same pokemon.

X=amount of move uses.

Flamethrower golem isn't that good anymore due to the special/physical split made in generation 4. Since flamethrower is a special move and golem has only 55 special attack in base stats it's not that good :P

darnit! kinda blows, would love to port it to other games to see how it goes, altough i would need to get my hands on a copy of emerald to clone ti first(got pokebox+gamecube)I

dont want to lose it on my original save though.

May the light have your back and your ISO low.

*50 years later* Still no MMO!

Seriously though, I doubt they will ever make an MMO.. The people at Game Freak have showed little interest in making it themselves..

There are quite a few fan made Pokemon MMO's though

Dang, never heard of it. I might want to check it out, my first Pokemon game was Pokemon Emerald, when I was like 5 years old. Couldn't let go of that game, was so addicted to it.

Not sure if it's still online or decent, last time I played it must have been 7 years ago or something..
