If it's just for gaming go with 8gb of RAM and use that for a bettter GPU

for gaming I assume? i would drop the 960 for a 970 and drop 8gb ram.  8 is enough.   this coming from a guy with a 960 and 16gb ram hahaha

What's with the 250gb HDD? Just get 8gb of RAM. And why the fans? That case already come with fans.

Personally I would do the 760t Instead.

As well as get a bigger power supply.

You probably don't need 16gb of ram, but look around on the weekend deals on newegg where you can get an exceptional deal on ram.

Probably cheaper to buy the RAM in a matched pair instead of separate sticks. Also the Corsair CX500 has rather short cables for the monstrosity that is a 780T.

I would say drop the fans, get a GTX 970 or R9 280 or 285, get 8 GB of ram unless you are also working with hard-core video editing, and replace the 250 GB harddrive with a Samsung 840 EVO or an SSHD. But really, why are you adding more fans when the fans that come with the case are perfectly fine?

You are on a need to know basis, and you don't need to know.

it's not to bad. I would of went for an r9 280x instead though, I wouldn't of gotten the corsair fans. The PSU is meh, I'm also guessing he already has or had that 250gb SSD. Trust me I've seen worse, On pcpart particles I seen someone with an fx 8xxxx or 9xxxx can't exactly remember with a Titan, just a Titan, not a Titan X

Go with 8gb ram not 16. Skip the fans. Do you really need a dvd drive, You can instal windows on a usb stick and you buy all the games on steam. And for the money you save buy a 970 or better. And whats up with the 250gb harddrive? You could go for a ssd instead

the 960 has a 240Hz Max Refresh Rate

and now i do realize that the psu could have been better

i can upgrade in the future

yeah the fact that over $700 of it is peripheals and the monitors that's leave $1300 which could of easily sqeuuezed a GTX 980ti Kindda like this, http://pcpartpicker.com/p/YswCnQ

2 dont need that much graphics power

Go with 8gb ram not 16. Skip the fans. Do you really need a dvd drive, You can instal windows on a usb stick and you buy all the games on steam. And for the money you save buy a 970 or better. And whats up with the 250gb harddrive? You could go for a ssd instead

if i was to get a ssd which do u suggest

if i got an ssd would i put games and most used programs on the ssd and other stuff on the hdd

why the 960 though? a 280/x would have been better

Oh and also i didnt buy the case a freind did

its expensive but a really good case

ive already pretty much finished the pc just need to boot it up and install the drivers :)

1 this is my first build and 2 i felt like the 960 was fine

and i also posted that i didnt buy the case a freind did
