Can't be old, because the video with Linus was released 1 day ago. (On Vessel)

And eh.. Don't agree with the video anymore.

-snip-

If you already have a GTX 980 then you should SLI it, you'll be looking at performance comparable to the Titan X.

If you haven't bought a GTX 980, you should wait for AMD's new GPU line to release.

Two 980s are waaaaay faster than a single Titan X, not on par.

AMD will announce their new cards in about 2,5 hours. I thinkt you can wait this long ;)

But because you have already a GTX 980 you are better off getting a second one, instead of buying any other card.

Mineral oil and 40 kg aluminium heat sinks are a perfect combination: 73 cores and a Titan X, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Oil

If I had the 980...I'd sell it and buy the Ti to be honest. Not a fan of SLI...that's just me though.

I think this is a good solution. Not every game is properly supporting SLI, so single GTX 980Ti will be more reliable. However i would still wait for test results of AMD Fury.

To be fair it takes like 5 seconds to disable the secondary adapter lol
