The best PC games that aren't so demanding graphically

GaS

Just looking to see some games that are awesome and arent so demanding graphically(so nothing like BF3,4 or Crysis, etc.) It doesnt have to be something like Minecraft it can be more demanding than that but somewhere i would say in the middle in terms of being demanding. Like lets say there is this kind of scale:

1-not demanding

2-kind of demanding

3-demanding

4-very demanding

If we were to take this scale and find some games that would have around a 2,3(3 is alright) what would be some games that would fall in that category? can be any genre except racers, fighters.

The Counter Strike series is something that could be worth looking at. I myself has gotten stuck into CS:GO that's why I'm not currently very active on the forums right now :P

Left 4 Dead works great too, I think the Source engine has to be one of the most optimised engines out there, any game that uses it runs beautifully in my opinion.

Cube World is pretty good from what I have played so far.

I got to lvl 63 and I stopped playing. Might start again soon and get lvl 80.

For the OP, Icewind Dale (1), Nox (1), The Witcher(2), Team Fortress 2(3), Total Annihilation (1) (+1 internet for you if you played it in 1997), Supreme Commander Forged Alliance (3), Splinter Cell Chaos Theory (2)

I wanted to say Trials Evolution: Gold Edition and Joe Danger: The Movie, but I suppose those count as racing games.

In which case I would go with Bioshock Infinite or CS:GO.

Post your system specs.

If you can't handle BF3 you may be able to handle BC2 and MOH (2010) which looks WAAAAY better then BF3 even without SweetFX.

Same with Crysis Wars.

This. The source engine is so damn good.

Another game is GMOD. Pretty much the pinnacle of sandbox/screw around gameplay.

Kerbal Space Program

Eh, this one's debatable.

As the game is developed, it's going to need more powerrrrrrrr to run it properly.

ESPECIALLY as the player builds space stations, or when more planets are added.

I really like Bleed, plus the original Half-Life games aren't too demanding, neither are the original Serious Sam or Duke Nukem games. Also, a lot of games on GoG.com aren't really that demanding, although there are a few.

Plus, you have emulators, too. I don't think Pre-N64 or PS1 emulators are all that demanding.
