How do we know it's Fallout 4?

Everyone keeps god damn saying "Fallout 4 announcement yayy hype" even the god damn articles from companies are saying 4 but has anyone actually confirmed that it is 4?

 

You're getting everyone hyped for 4 but what if it is just a remaster?

 

If someone can prove it is definitely 4 then I will agree but for now can everyone SHADDAP

Someone said "Fallout 4 wouldn't make sense, because F2 was from 1998 and F3 was 2008" etc.

Who says it wont be Fallout New Vegas 2? Or Some other sub title

In all fairness someone said New Vegas was made by Obsidian and not Bethesda but for all we know this could be a completely different Fallout project trying something new.

 

It just annoys me that humans are fucking sheep and follow the "IT'S SO 4" without proof because one stupid company said it.

Well you can't really stop people for being hype up for it. Plus they aren't doing anything bad so let them be.

I kind of want it to not be Fallout 4 to actually make people find proof.

That's what annoys me. I would rather people said new fallout announcement.

 

Literally just leave out the 4 and HOPE it's 4.

Don't you fucking take this away from me. Fallout 3 resides on its pedestal as my favorite game that I have ever played. Fallout: New Vegas, in comparison, was a joke, and pales compared to the greatness that was 3. Thinking about my times exploring the wastelands, being completely immersed in such an amazing world still makes me tear up to this day. I played the game for the first time shortly after I moved out into the country. Everything was new, and my whole life shifted drastically, and rapidly. It was my escape. I went from being in a new place, adjusting to my new life, to debating whether or not I should destroy Megaton. I had connections with those I met. Walking through the Subways and looking at the destroyed vintage art, only to be interrupted by a ghoul, whom is only visible due to my Pip-boy's light... Knowing that at one point, this was a person. I can kill them easily, but they're practically dead already. 

 

I really love that game.

This is why I would prefer a fucking HUGE Fallout 3 overhaul either now, or in a few years.

 

P.S i actually seriously thoroughly enjoyed New Vegas

If they release anything other than Fallout 4 it will be like shooting themselves in a foot, with a tank.

An year ago it was exactly the same thing. People were excited as fuck to no avail.

Even fake sites surfaced.
