Damn they changed it. It used to be something along the lines of "your IP is <your actual IP here> and it has been reported to the FBI bla bla bla".

Apparently now lolita is just treated like any other search.

Lolita was actually a good thing IMO. The bait was titled something like "17-year old blablabla" and it was pretty obvious that it was going to lead to something illegal, so the people who still clicked on it got scared into learning their lesson. Disguising a link to a "how to find child porn"-google search and making it look harmless is just nasty 4chan-style trolling.

Oh and yes OP, Google has that logged. The FBI won't come banging down your door in the middle of the night from 1 google search though. People get tricked by that kind of stuff all the time. I think it started on 4chan, it was a link to imgfap (some kind of amateur porn site) and was titled something like "17-year old lolita [insert sexually explicit title here]", and those who clicked on it would be directed to a site that displayed their IP and said "your IP has been recorded by the FBI blablabla". It was basically a joke to scare the shit out of people willing to click on child porn.

The search was titled "Lolita", people often tried it because of a picture of 4chan's owner holding a paper with those words on it and having a broad smile.

That search is actually perfectly legal in most countries since it refers to graphic depictions, usually in a Japanese cartoon style, of underage girls, although "lolita" itself doesn't always have any sexual relevance. It's important to note that the depictions are very rarely realistic, so it's not a gateway to safe child porn or anything like that.

Here's the pic for those who are curious, not sure if it stills do the reporting thing, don't bother trying either. If you're going to do it, use some other image site. If you absolutely have to and is paranoid as fuck, use google image search with safe filter, you'll get the idea.

So about lolita... I tried it when I saw the advice dog image I posted on page 1.

Lolita comes from the (erotic) novel Lolita. It's about a ~35 year old man who becomes the stepfather of a 12 year old girl he nicknames lolita, and then they have lots of sex. I haven't read it but it's really really REALLY popular. If you look up lists of the best books of all times it is usually on them and it's often called a classic. It's even included in the Bokklubben World Library.

 

So after the book lolita started meaning seductive young girl.

It's from lolita the term "lolicon" (short for lolita complex) comes from, but in 99.9% of cases it's about anime/manga when that term is used.

There is also "lolita fashion" but I have no idea why it's called that (victorian-ish clothes with corsets, petticoats, knee-socks etc).

 

 

TL;DR: lolita means little girl so searching for it on a porn site is bad. Imagefap had a joke on their website where if you searched for it you got a scary message saying that you had been reported to the FBI and your IP (showed your actual IP) had been logged. Lots of people who didn't even know what lolita was got tricked into searching for it and got scared.
