What do you do with old hardware boxes?

As the title says, what do you do with old boxes from your rig?

Stack them and keep them.

 

Put them in the closet.

 

You never know when you need to send it to the manufacturer.

I filled my case box with all of my other boxes for other components. Then I use the power supply box to keep all my screws, bolts, cables, zip ties, TIM, and everything you can think of in one place. I have over 100 motherboard standoffs.

I usually just throw them in the attic where they collect dust.

Recycle them. But I keep the serial numbers from the boxes.

I keep the, until I know I won't be sending it back ever again Iike when I retire a piece hardware and have no desires to sell it. Cases on the other had I keep because it's where I store my spare cases

I have like 7 pantry closet type rooms in my place

I use 1 for clothes

I just put them somewhere where my mother cant see them. She threw away my keyboard box with all the papers and the drivers disk. Linus would be proud of her for doing that but still, maybe I wanted to send it back.

I keep them till my hardware's warranty is over, then I throw them away.

I use my motherboard to store all the manuals and accessories and you could use your case box as a storage box for stuff. I just place all my boxes into the case box.

Burn them ASAP after I unboxed my hardware.

I keep them until the warranty on said hardware runs dry, then I either recycle them or use them for other means of storage. I don't see any other point in keeping them, as most people aren't interested in used PC hardware ;(

I keep mine until the warranty is up or it gets retired for something better.  Those boxes are just so damn big for my tiny closet =(
