The GPU is still plenty powerful, but yeah. NVidia gimped the vram on both the 680 and 780 series. Glad to see they are finally being serious with 980ti (if it's 6GB).

The GTX 680 had a 4GB variant, the GTX 780 had a 6GB variant. I don't see how that's gimping?

elaborate on how it was gimped again ?  unlike you i actually do have an 780ti, i would really like to test it myself before making assumptions on the internet.

A gimped Titan X is not exactly impressive as a new product. Then again, people want bat shit insane over 780ti. Too bad that card can't run new games at ultra due to vram limitations.

I can run Witcher 3 on a 560 with 1GB of VRAM...where's the limitation? D:

It will cost $900 here in Indonesia for the MSI version , so the msrp will be around $700.

Yes, but the vast majority of those cards sold, were 2/3GB versions. The 4/6GB versions, are rarer and also halves the throughput/bandwidth per GB.

umm, i can see 780ti right under 980 and every benchmark from the link you gave me? please needs more explanations on why it was gimped, and please do explain, dont just link me articles.
