Parents Caught Me Smoking....

I know, but it's kind of smoking here, it's really big where I am, everyone I know does it, and I can't stand cigs at ALL.

 

 

It's legal, buying them is 18 smoking them is 16.

 

 

I am the legal age to smoke them, not buy them, is that a problem?

That's what I'm thinking, but then again that was with the non nicotine ones. 

 

I get some that is like $20 for a 30mL bottle, so I think it's good, well I hope. Not sure what brand it is. I can check later. 

As a 2+ pack a day smoker, I will say this.

 

don't ever start with the real thing. I know it's killing me, I love it, I LOVE the taste and feel of real cigs. If they came up with a cheap cure for cancer, I'd probably be upwards of 5 packs a day. But don't ever start. I can barely jog without getting out of breath, eating makes me out of breath (but I basically inhale my food, so that may just be a lack of breathing lol). Vaping is nothing to worry about, just stay away from those "e cigs". They're probably as bad as the real thing.

 

Also worth mentioning, if vapes had formaldehyde in it, I'd be sucking them down like cigs, because formaldehyde causes hallucinations, which is why people put it on weed (it can also kill you in that situation).

 

I also love the "atmosphere" smoking makes in my room when I have my fan off and the window closed. That slight layer of lingering smoke glowing in the light of my monitors... love it.

 

But as I said, don't ever start, you will regret it when you try to quit. It's a BITCH

So like the title says my parents found 5 vapes in my room, yes 5.. They were are disposibles that had like .1% nicotine (Which you can't even get a buzz off of and they say on the package none in it) and my mom asked why I was and I told her it was a one time thing, but it's not, I have upgraded to a $130 vape with 3% nicotine and I don't want to stop. My parents don't seem mad at me since I told them it had no nic and that it's just vapor no smoke and doesn't smell. Tonight I didn't eat my dinner and my dad just joked "have you been smoking or something again". Do you guys think that they are mad? Where should I hide my 2 other vapes that are refillable and need to charge? Should I just let them know?

If you know its wrong now, and you still continue to smoke, later down the road, your going to want to smoke, it will will essentially become 80 times harder. Then, your going to have to go throough rehab for your "additon for a month, when, if you stop now, you could have witdraw for 5-7 days, and STOP

As opposed to the hundreds of studies that have shown a 10-100 fold decrease in danger over cigarettes? Again... I know what is in every drop of my mix. I pay attention... Perhaps you should do some reading on sigma's site about their nicotine contents. Then read realistic studies

To be perfectly honest, cancer can be cause by anything, it's the result of damage to our genes, and any being, however naturally long lived (as in the specific genes in their DNA responsible for cell replication don't degrade as ours do) will eventually run into the problem of cancer.

Considering the difference between exhaling a hit off a cig through a paper towel, and a hit off a vape through a paper towel, I would have to say no. Because the vape doesn't change the color of the paper towel at all, whereas the cig hit turns it brown.

I could also show you the myriad of studies showing that straight up smoking weed is less harmful than cigs and doing vapes is even less harmful overall, but you probably wouldn't read that shit either because you're set in your stubborn ways. 

 

I don't agree with people who smoke, I don't see any rhyme or reason to it. That doesn't mean I judge them, tell them to stop or otherwise harass them. Freedom of choice, and from those in this thread it is fairly informed choices to vape.
