Corsair RGB Central Thread (K65/K70/K95)

So I think it is a good idea to have a thread of our own about the Corsair RGB keyboards!

Anybody who has one of these keyboards ....come in! Share your profiles or let us know what profiles you like.

Generally you can get profiles from people who share their profiles on the Corsair Forums here: http://forum.corsair.com/Forums/forumdisplay.php?f=248

Me personally I just found out about the Spectrograph that this guy made:   http://forum.corsair.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=139027

It allows your keyboard to synch sound like we always wanted...

Otherwise my fav profile is the Poison profile that somebody made.

Also you can come here about anything relating to the keyboard series, be it issues, new findings or whatever!

Anyway, happy sharing!

I think this should be pinned since it's commonly brought up around here. I don't own any of them though.

Good idea! Though not sure if mods will do that.

I would, but I never have my LEDs on... Subsequently, I don't have the need for custom profiles ^_^

Good idea tho

I'll quote them as I do believe it needs pinning. I swear I hear about it every hour on this subforum.

@airdeano, @alpenwasser, @WoodenMarker, @Blade of Grass, @GoodBytes

I want this thread pinned if you don't mind :) Would save me and many, many others a lot of time.

I will say this about my unit:

Spilled noodle soup on the mainboard once, via the open space under the spacebar. It malfunctioned, tripping balls and LED's stopped working, I unplugged it and took a hairdryer to the spot, it fixed the keyboard and the LED's but... i melted keycaps and the wristrest. I bought a new wristrest from Corsair and they were so nice to send me new keycaps for free when I asked for them.

Also today I had some moisture between some keys and ... the keyboard malfunctioned again, spamming a key. I let it dry and it works again.

Seems this keyboard really. really, REALLY hates moisture however it doesn't let it ruin it, like it would the non rgb series probably.

My main profile is solid white, and then on key press the individual key  does a rainbow sequence. Looks really cool. It's called reactive rainbow.

Okay with the new 16.8 color mode people are saying it brings flicker with it..... yet I don't have flicker....

http://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/comments/33rj86/update_for_corsair_rgb_keyboards_adds_168_million/

edit: I do see it now, when I take my keycaps off, which is normally never. So those people whine a bit too much...

EDIT: http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?t=133172&page=41

one user claimed it's fixed in the second edit on that page.

I had tried to when I initially got the keyboard, but then I saw someone else's implementation which was much better.

You can find it here in this forum post, it's among a list of compiled profiles: http://forum.corsair.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=133248
