hi. i know i might get hate for this. but honestly its just a mere question, my intentions are not evil or hate, just asking a simple thing. so pls dont take it personally. sorry if i offend anyone.

 

so i was searching for weather in Montreal, when i saw this.

i will be visiting Canada soon. i really have a very good image of Canadians overall and i think you people are nice and friendly and just over all very nice people. but what is this? i see your police hitting someone in the face, is your police like ours as well? lel :D

 

and my question is, are your police and other law enforcement organisations really bad, like American bad?

 

are you Canadians happy with your police? i mean can you guys share any instance where you got annoyed by a policeman for not your fault? i would really like to know.

They visit my school often for drug busts. They ain't mean, unless you be a retard and don't cooperate, then they get salty.

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it. 

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff. 

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

honestly speaking with you guys, what im really dont like is these drug thingy going on in American, Canada, and other developed countries. its really annoying to me.i dont understand why people do it when everyone knows how shitty it is. i have read it so many times that police and other people raiding schools and even libraries and other nice places for finding drugs. why do people do it? every movie now a days has these drugs and heroine and other shitty stuff in them. songs have these as their themes. honestly speaking its not AS COMMON of a thing in other countries. especially in under developed countries. may be because of lower income of people, but its not as wide spread.

why people like it so much?

There are always going to be bad people in any part of the world. Don't judge a whole country based on one person.

Just remember that the laws are different here in Canada.  If the Police as you for your ID you have to show them whether you did anything or not.  That being said as long as you follow the laws and don't be an idiot they'll mind their own business.

Some are good, some are bad. I know police looks "scary" but if you don't do anything stupid they're fine, what I hate about them (some) are racism. Sometimes people don't do anything wrong but they just arrest them because of ___ (can be skin color, wealth, etc.) I don't know about Canadian Police.

please im not judging whole country cause of this. im just asking what you Canadians think?

 

like if you ask me, how is your police, i would say, its very shitty police but still there are like 20% nice people in it. i have had to deal exactly 4 times with police, and 2 times they asked for bribe, although my bike documents were all fine!

i always ask police man for the way if im lost, instead of any other person. which is a rarity in our country, cause people avoid policemen in our country. like mostly.

cops I've encountered have been pretty chill. then again I'm not the wrong demographic.

even for driving infractions all interactions have been above board. only complaint I have is how they camp out at speed traps

 

first time I've ever had a problem was crossing the border with my japanese cousin. I thought we were answering the border officer's questions normally like how I'd talk to any person but for some reason she rested her hand on her holster and in an intense tone ordered us to put our hands on the table.

the situation was so absurd she took things from 0 to confrontational over absolutely nothing. so absurd that it kind of made me laugh as I was translating the absurd situation to my cousin.

 

american border patrol pre september 11th almost pulled a gun on me for no reason.
