STOP BUYING GAMES FOR $60+ USD!

AlTech

Companies are charging $60 on top of DLC they have planned which can add up to over $100 USD in some cases!

Buying games for $60 at launch makes companies think that this is acceptable.

Because of $60 games we buy fewer games per year and is very difficult for most people to buy a game at launch!

If you do this now then you will no longer have to pay $60 USD for games!

I started this when I started to be able to afford 3 or 4 games a year when before I could easily buy 8 games a year.

Games should be sold for $30-40  USD! or even less not $60 USD!

Sign the petition and be one step closer to $30 AAA Games! https://www.change.org/p/ea-games-stop-selling-video-games-for-60-usd-or-more

Comment below if you disagree or agree that $60+ USD is outrageous!

60 USD for an AAA title has been the standard for years, it's not going to change anytime soon.

I would be perfectly find with paying £40 for my games if they included all DLC content with the game but I have to agree with you here.

I will generally wait until a game is cheap enough on G2A or Kinguin with the amount I think the game is worth, not how much I want it.

I haven't paid full price in a while but GTA V was an exception because I pirated it on Xbox 360 and feel bad for never giving R* what they deserved for over 100 hours of enjoyment.

But you have to consider how much devs put in to their games and how much they work on them.

A lot of devs deserve to charge that much because of how much work they go through, you need to understand things from both sides before just saying "DON'T DO THIS!"

SNIP

Nothing wrong with $60 as long as the game is worth it, I have no issue paying that

DLC is completely optional, as long as its not DAY 1 DLC, I have no issue with DLC as a concept as long as it is not abused

However games should be priced according to their content

A 15 Hour AAA single player campaign? $40, an 80 hour AAA RPG $60, a basic indie platform, $10-$20 etc, online multiplyer $40-$100

I have no issue with that kind of pricing as long as the game is worth it for me

Ok ok, this random guy on the internet said it, now I wont do it anymore!

No, but games cost a lot to make. And if I enjoy a game a lot I will play it for a long loooong time. So it will be worth the 60 USD.

If the game is very big, selling it with cheap price can lead to loss instead of profit..... Depends on the game actually. If the game is worth the price then it's still okay but if it's like Assassin's Creed Unity..... I'd not buy it.

Having played the latest games for PC for more than 15 years now I can tell you that new releases have always been 60 dollars plus, at least here. On top of that we had tons of full price expansions. Accounting for inflation I'd say we're at a pretty good spot right now.

Weird, i still remember picking up Diablo 1 or Divine Divinity new for 399 SEK,  back in the days even many other PC games.

Console has always been around 599-699 SEK but never has a PC game been that expensive, unless you go to like some stupid retailer that charge and extra 100 SEK.

Even now its not even above the 500 SEK threshold, but it is climbing.

There is nothing wrong with DLC!!! its extra content that is not required, I dont expect it to be free if you are getting extras unless its only very basic things

The expansions are made AFTER the game is made, they are OPTIONAL EXTRA content!

Premium, is just a way of paying one cost, and getting all dlc for one cost, making it cheaper, and extra benefits like extra battlepacks etc, I bought that because I was happy to pay for it

I can decide myself where I spend my money on. what the fuk

Totally agree with this. Why do people always feel the need to tell other people how to spend their money? If I want to get 32gb on my pc I will, I know its not necessary but I want it. If I want to buy Horse Armour DLC for £15 then I will, my horse will look awesome.

I have a job, I get paid well for that job so I will spend my money on what and how I like... thanks :)
