Happiest and Saddest moments in your life ?

Delusional Phil

As title above , sorry if I'm noisey or you find me invading your personal life ... Also , I want to know how it changed , affected your lives ? What lesson have you forge from those memories ? ( Sorry for bad grammar )

For me ? I don't have a sad or Supper happy memory that I can think of , maybe it's because my brain likes to wipe out completely the terrible memory after a few months or I just don't see it as depressing when I look back . Also , I'm an optimistic , when life bashes you in the head , I will got up and keep on walking ...

... Life is a game and the checkpoints are your birthday , you will face challenges where you may not get rewarded afterwords but those are the challenges that help you improve yourself . Always live for tomorrow because you may never know when your game will be over ... I'm totally not going insane in anyway , shape or form ... I just have broken English and an open mind ...

Wow this is a tough one.

Happiest: I'd say visiting my family in Europe in 2010

Saddest: Probably having an actual heart attack Junior year of high school, that's kinda set me for life I think

I'm kinda lucky in that i don't really feel extreme highs or lows, i just cruise along in the middle :)

One of the defining moments where this became clear to me was sitting in the funeral home beside my older brother who was a blithering mess because our mother had passed away, i felt more uneasy about other people noticing that i wasn't emotional than the reason we were actually there, like i was worried about being seen for what i was.

  • Happiest moment: Probaby when my daughter was born.
Saddest moment: When my wife (then girlfriend) gave me an ulitmatum. Either I would quit my drug habbit, or she would leave me, and I would never see my then unborn child. It made me realize how destructive my drug addction was, and how much it actually affected the people around me.

That is something I don't think I'll ever be prepared for..

Think, I'll sit out of this one. :0/

The more life you see the more extreme this stuff gets. :0/

Edit: Holding my new-born nephew for the first time was a life-changing experience. Not at either extreme of the happy/sad continuum but absolutely extraordinary.

New memories will never come in to existence, old memories slowly fade in to oblivion. It's human nature to try and hold what we find dear.

My happiest moment in my life was when I successfully built my own PC.

Unfortunately my worst moment was when I broke my toe..... I have a problem about heart rate.... When I panic it goes up really fast so, it had made my situation a lot worse in terms of recovery....

So in essence you're saying that your saddest moment caused your happiest moment?

To some extend, yes. Atleast I wouldn't have ever seen my daughter, if I had chosen to remain a drug addict.

Saddest:

-That would probably be the passing of both my grandparents on dad's side, they passed away within a week of each other, it sucked because I was especially close with my grandfather.

-Second to that would be the other week we almost lost our 2 year old pup, because vets are expensive and people are jerks :/

Happiest:

-I guess when my friend in Melbourne GAVE me her spare ticket to The Living End's retrospective tour (they played all their albums live over 6 nights it was EPIC) down there in Melbourne and she also paid for my flight down and back because I couldn't afford to go to even the one up here where I live and I felt extremely shit at that point in my life, so that really helped me feel better and showed me not everyone I know was selfish.

-There was also the time my friend in England surprised me with a personalised & autographed Slipknot poster for my birthday with signatures from 5 of the current band members along with a personalised birthday message from both Corey & Jim. It was the only birthday present I got that year, but holy shit one of the best birthday presents I have gotten.
