The Radical Red, 290X Ligtning w/ FX 8350 cooled by 480mm Custom Loop

CoolaxGaming

12m0amy.gif?2

Parts -

AMD FX 8350 (Overclocked duh...) Alphacool waterblock

480mm custom loop

Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0

Corsair Vengeance 16GB (8x2) (Overclocked)

MSI Lightning R9 290X (Overclocked again!) Ek waterblock

Corsair AX1200i 1200 watt PSU

Phanteks Enthoo Primo Special Edition - RED

AMD Radeon R7 SSD 240GB

Corsair FORCE LS 60GB (Cache SSD)

Seagate Barracuda 1TB

Asus VG248QE

Windows 10

This build is supposed to be built in a "radical" way. I know Intel is a better option and I should not be spending money on AMD. But I will be upgrading to Intel X99 in the coming months, maybe sooner, the Sata controller on AMD cant be shitier

I know I posted a log before, but I seem to have lost it (I had the pic and the text saved on Onedrive) and it was already overflowing with junk anyways.

So letz go -

Current progress -

You should have gone with a reference gpu

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

I got $300 at disposal on may 1. Probably gonna get h220x+ek water block or save up for x99.

Yup, the reference 290x runs at 40c furmark when on 30 ambient.

On a more serious note, it looks quite a lot better

New is for people that like stability. They just recently made a video about this in their scrapyard builds, etc. Used parts are nothing to brag about.

Lightning cards have the best air cooler on the market. While it may be 3 slots, that 290x puts out something like 450w of heat or something like that, not to mention overclocking.

not even close to 450watts... And I have 100% stability from my used parts the only thing I had fail was a NEW part which is my PSU

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

Oh man, more lightning cards!

I'd get a second if they were only 2 slots

Specs: 4790k | Asus Z-97 Pro Wifi | MX100 512GB SSD | NZXT H440 Plastidipped Black | Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler | MSI 290x Lightning | EVGA 850 G2 | 3x Noctua Industrial NF-F12's

Bought a powermac G5, expect a mod log sometime in 2015

Corsair is overrated, and Anime is ruined by the people who watch it
