i heard that game of thrones is most pirated but in light of the rule that says no pirating.... i totaly didn't.... and if i would have it would be because the episodes weren't releasing fast enough on tv..... what about You? :D

also just to warn you if you haven't watched the entire thing or someone might have read the book and spoil it so BEWARE MAY BE SPOILERS

I honestly don't feel sorry for the companies complaining about profits going down from piracy. If they would give me a way to give them money in return for DRM-free copies of the show, I would pay whatever they wanted. I feel like most people would be ok paying for the content as well as long as the companies that make the content have a nice way to deliver it.

Yes I did, sweden is very very slow when it comes to releasing american tv shows :(

Got a netflix account because I hoped I would be able to use that, but they just don't keep up at all, and I have canceled my sub there... Also, I don't have a TV which doesn't make things easier :P

 

Edit: Now NSA will probably put me on their black list D:

 

Edit again: Did it get leaked before launch as well? because I watched it after it was aired :S

I had never heard of it until someone here mentioned people pirating it.

Life is pain. Anyone who says any different is either selling something or the government.

The programming director at HBO actually said the people pirating GoT are probably the ones beyond their normal customers buying the blu-rays and DVDs, so they didn't really mind that much, and that it was to be expected that a show that big on a pay-to-view region exclusive TV channel gets pirated.

 

I stream it online, and buy the blu-ray when it comes out. Seems only fair to give them my 25 euros for watching the series. If HBO GO was available here, I'd buy into it immediately. But it isn't so I can't.

In Ontario you have to pay an extra $20/month just for hbo with Bell. I haven't pirated it because my friends has the episodes on blu-ray.

I've actually resisted the urge to do so. I'm fine with waiting for the blu ray release, anyway.

no i did not pirate game of thrones because i dont watch game of thrones and i have no desire to ever watch it.
