I now have quite a decent sized cut on my head ffs

Needs money for car parts :P

Well you'd hate type 1 diabetes with a pump. Needle about 3/4 of an inch long in your abdomen every 3 days for the rest of your life. Also, pricking your finger every time you eat something.

Yeh, it's not a great situation, so I've heard. Timeline on a treatment that doesn't require injections shouldn't actually be too far off. There are loads of research groups investigating different avenues. A friend of mine is working in one.
