R9 295X2 outperforms Titan X, offers much better price/performance ratio

EcoBoost

Found this on Sapphire's Facebook page this morning: https://www.facebook.com/SapphireTechnology/photos/a.137560919429.107699.135403179429/10153235093224430/?type=1&theater

Also interesting to see that the HD 7990 (280X CrossFire) still outperforms a single GTX 980, while still being cheaper. AMD seems to really be getting the price-to-performance hammered down, especially for people who aren't concerned about the extra power consumption or heat output.

Yeah but it's dual GPU =/ and lacks higher amounts of ram per chip, not to mention the power draw.

Yeah it's a nice card but it has it's cons compared to the titan x that would make the titan x more appealing.

Agree, honestly I am disappointed by the 980 and Titan X

My 780ti which came out in like January 2014 is not far off a 980 and the Titan X has NOWHERE near the performance for its insane cost - really, not much has changed, I expect more than a 5-10% performance boost if they expect me to put down more of my money

AMD are really doing well with price to performance, BUT we cannot forget these are older cards and the prices have dropped considerably since launch -

lets see how the 300 series compares, if its another 5-10% performance boost I will be very sad

in England you can crossfire 295x2 for roughly the same price as a titan x!! quadfire!! well you'd have to also factor in the price of a 1500w powers supply!!
