If research is correct it's a 1998 Toshiba Satellite 335CDT, 166 MHz Intel Pentium MMX Processor, 4GB HDD, 32Mb RAM, and a 56k Modem!

Thinkpad 380D - 1995 I think. Pentium MMX1333 16MB RAM and indeed a 56K modem.

 

And yes... it works sort of (CMOS battery and main battery are very dead at this point).
