I currently own the AT2020 but I would like to see the comparison. I guess hoping I'm made the right choice.  :)

Is the blue yeti blackout the same as the regular blue yeti's in other colors or is it a better model 

 

I believe it's just the same. It just matches better with a set up. But I could be lying. :P

How are these microphones for "real" conference use?  I need to buy a microphone next month that can cleanly pick up multiple people if they are ~6 feet away in a round table type configuration.

 

This review seemed all right but I didn't see Linus get more than 1-2 feet away from the mic.
