The Water Cooling Gallery

So im still waiting on the second gpu block for mine sadly it was on back order however i built the loop anyway to get an idea of what the swiftech h320 could really handle. This was built in a corsair air 540 on a minimum wage students cash flow and here are the results with more updates to come ;)

I'm in a process of redoing the loop with a separate pump and cpu block...

Mate, get rid of those QDCs! Especially with that little pump...

I never understood the whole QDC/Drain valve thing. Draining a loop is easy. I don't think I have spilled more than 10ml of water whilst pulling down a full watercooled rig..

made a few changes to mine, i put a bigger rad on the bottom, and ran some clear tube just to see what it would look like.im not really happy with the big looped tube running across the mobo, ill probably get a few angled connectors when i get the motivation to play around with it again

Nothing wrong with that! I really like the Koolance 380! I think its one of the best looking waterblocks.

This was the R4 not long ago, id argue that yours looks  better than this.

Hey guys just wanted to share my PC. I put a lot of time and work and planning into this. It's almost done just awaiting a PSU cover and a custom GPU backplate. Also have a few more cables to sleeve.

here is the backplate I am awaiting.

holy fuck that is sexy.

muh specs

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it.

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff.

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

First watercooled pc ive done, thoughts?

I have the same case (except with a full side window and no fan) and I'm looking at watercooling it. I want to put a rad on the bottom or front as well though. Im curious about what cpu/gup you are using and what temps you are getting with the 360 rad.

AMD FX 8350, ASUS Sabertooth 990fx R2.0, Crucial Ballistix Tracer 4x4GB 1866, PNY GTX780, Corsair HX850, Phantom 630, Samsung 120GB SSD, WD Black 2TB HDD

Im running fx8320 and an r9 280x temps are ok im getting 60 degrees under load on a very hot day, a word of warning any rad you put in ull have to drill holes in your case to fit it.

As for the side panel i need to leave the fan to keep positive pressure
