How old is your keyboard?

Hi all,

It just came up in me that my keyboard is really really old, it even has one of those fancy turbo buttons on it!

I was just wondering how old you guys' keyboards are?

Photo of my ancient keyboard:

Yes, those are overly used media buttons.

I had a new keyboard since this one as it was "deteriorating", a Sharkoon Skiller, that piece of junk made me mad enough to break it in many little parts... I did keep the membranes however, should I ever need a replacement one.

I only ever needed a single (!!!) replacement membrane for this keyboard, because I teared one apart when I opened the keyboard for cleaning...

well it still works after over 10 years, which I can not say for any other keyboard that I have tried to replace it with.

Mine is no more than 3 years old. I tend to change my keyboard every 3 years or so, as by that time the membrane wears out, and dries, so the response of the keys is n longer good, and it doesn't help that each key starts feeling different, making it annoying when gaming and most importantly for me, coding.

I have the Wired Logitech Illuminated Keyboard .

My current keyboard (6GV2) is about 2 years old.

My previous keyboard (Microsoft Wireless Multimedia 1.0A) lasted 9 years on my desk, I have no idea where it is now but it probably still works!
