What screwdrivers do you use?

PoshBoyGames

I got a set of small ones this Christmas..

I really only use one of them, for opening my DS/3DS or PS3 controllers.

And... I guess I use some standard bigger + and - screwdrivers.. Nothin special

I use a 54-bit screwdriver kit from Ifixit. One of these https://nl.ifixit.com/Store/Tools/54-Bit-Driver-Kit/IF145-022-1

Basically has all of the bits you should need ever for a pretty good price IMO.

Case: Meatbag, humanoid - APU: Human Brain version 1.53 (stock clock) - Storage: 100TB SND (Squishy Neuron Drive) - PSU: a combined 500W of Mitochondrial cells - Optical Drives: 2 Oculi, with corrective lenses.

WERA. One kit for electronics and then one kit for general use. Really good quality and great ergonomics if you have large hands.

I've a multibits screwdriver, 2 sets of cheap tiny screwdrivers for the smaller screw and I'll probably buy the ifixit set when I'll build my pc.

I think it's better to buy a good screwdriver once rather than a few shitty ones, I've grinded some screw and scredrivers head in the past :I

I've been using the same crappy set of screwdrivers for too long. What do you use?

some phillips brand for musical instrument repair and maintenance, and some ifixit screwdrivers for all my computer and electronic work, lastly the good old versions of craftsman tools for woodwork and automotive.

Nothing to see here, move along

Bahco 808050P with Metabo Promo 6 bits.

love them.

Oh and some well-worn but still great Stanley's for small stuff. I've had them for at least >10 years and still look new, but the rubber at the top is long gone.

I use my Klein insulated electrical screwdrivers that have magnetic tips. But all of my tools are expensive high end insulated electrical tools since I used to be well technically am still a Master electrician just havent worked in that field for the past few years after I sold my business due to a non-compete agreement.

A sonic one!

In all seriousness though I use whatever I can find because my dad has a ton of screwdrivers! But if you need a kit the iFixIt one is good from what I hear

The year is 20XX. Everyone plays Fox at TAS levels of perfection. Because of this, the winner of a match depends solely on port priority. The RPS metagame has evolved to ridiculous levels due to it being the only remaining factor to decide matches.

Only Abate, Axe, and Wobbles can save us.

just get a craftsmen set. My dad has had a set since he was 16, 51 now. we abuse the crap out of the tools. why? because they have a lifetime warranty. the only time we ever had to use that was when we broke a shovel getting a car off a dolly.

But yeah, go craftsmen, and you will never have to buy that tool again in your life.

I dont know if you know about them or not but Cobalt is the new Craftsmen they are about 30% cheaper just as durable and have the same lifetime warranty as Craftsmen does. They are only sold at Lowes though. I cant tell you how many times I've taken wrenches that I've bent in half back and just got them traded for new ones on the spot. No they didn't bend easy I would always put a 3ft pipe over them to be able to apply extra leverage for breaking rusty bolts loose which would cause them to bend yes have had just as many Craftsmen wrenches do the same.

I think the craziest thing I seen, was getting a subframe bolt out from under a focus. We had a socket on a breakerbar, then that breakerbar on a 5 foot pipe, and I was using my leg to push it. the BREAKER BAR was bending. it came loose. someone explain to me how that can bend but the tiny "teeth" of the socket are 100% fine. blows my mind.

I just got a 108 piece toolset from craftsmen for christmas, and I guess it depends if you buy the china craftsmen or the american made tools. because there is also cheap craftsmen that id stay away from right now. I dont think I ever had a wrench bend on me though. But yeah, if you can find any tool with a lifetime warranty, then your solid.
