If your current motherboard is an ASUS model, you should be able to overclock an i5 4690k on it after updating to the latest bios.

Wait or Change? H87n wifi and I5-4670 to I5-4690k and Asus z87i Pro.. What you think? 

upgrade your GPU if you want more performance. this is totaly not worth it.
