GTA V PC for 23% off at $46 [Rockstar Key]

Dealzon

Update 5/12/15: The GMG 23% off coupon discount is dead, but a new 20% coupon is live. See details below.

Different deal than what's posted earlier. GMG has GTA V PC for 25% off.

We're pretty sure the coupon is a fluke and will get taken away (but we've been wrong before).

  • Unlike the Rockstar Warehouse Store "deal," Steam Store and GMG is offering just GTA San Andreas as a free game copy (plus that 1 mil in game currency which is peasant money apparently). GMG has the additional 23% off.
  • The February 1st cut off date is kinda silly and lame. Personally I think its a response to the current pre-order meh trend. Giving a cutoff time to entice people more. (For me, the cold-hard cash discount is way better incentive).
  • NOTE: This is NOT a Steam key. It is a Rockstar Games Social Club code. Yes. Another DRM.

yup saw that too.

but honestly $13 discount = any of those two games.

whats wack is Rockstar is going the Ubisoft route and requiring Rockstar Games Social Club for the game, even if you buy it on Steam Store.

edit: apparently they've been doing this recently so I guess this is inevitable.

As an update of sort, this is kind of weird but GMG "ran out of stock" earlier today but now its back.

You'd think digital products wont run out of stock but its not like the retailer acquires an infinite amount of keys too. We've seen it happen before for Titanfall (strangely enough) and DAI too.

Dying light has the same discount. If it hasn't been posted already.

yeah the code works sitewide and works on MOST games, except for a few select titles.

Too bad there's no games I want that are released right now. Maybe I'll have to check steam wishlist.

eh, if its popular enough and a dev is a bit slow on supplying keys I could see it happening. Also i was told you made a topic about this a few days ago. I looked and never saw it, sorry :( :( :(

Social Club is actually pretty nice. It allows you to interact cross platform. Its a lot like Steam Workshop, except no mods (that we know of?)

Wait. So GTAV isn't a Steam dependent game at all?

nope.

rockstar game social club. kind of like what you have with LA Noire.

if you buy the game on steam store, you'll still need to have a rockstar game social club account to play the game.

Well Rockstar Club isn't bad. It was the stupid GFWL thingy that I hated.
