The small Intel stuff.

That could mean very good smartwatches are closer :)

When VR with crouching and jumping comes to CES and is slated for commercial release in that year or a year from that time then I will get really excited about a CES Show.  Still with that said there were some nice things presented at CES 2015 but many I would consider extras to me and not things I need.  If I was rich I would have scooped up a few.  Oh and one thing that was awesome was that electric skateboard but the problem there for me is the fact that I can't ride a skateboard.  I have bad balance.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

2015 is a transitional year for a lot of companies, because we're making the jump from DDR3 to 4, we're approaching the limits of what we can do with manufacturing processes on silicon, etc, etc. GTX 900 series and Broadwell are all about efficiency, not really about blowing away everything. It's just kind of the "tock" phase at the moment. but yeah, 2016 will be huge.

Not to say that there wasn't some pretty sweet stuff going on there. Cooler master has some pretty cool new coolers that they were showing off, Broadwell allows for a computer the size of a credit card, and we get a gauge of just how far we've come over the past 7 years with Skulltrail 2008 vs Broadwell 2015. 1000W+ server with dual xeons and quad graphics cards vs. a 15w NUC.

Oh, and Linus got some memes going for himself. He's managed to scare, annoy or creep out everyone from Intel to Seagate to Origin to MSI.

I was sitting here thinking, 'why was Computex so garbage this year', then I realized when Linus mentioned Las Vegas on the WAN show that it was CES >_<

Got damn it.

I was so happy when they announced they were going to CES that I resubscribed. (Thinking it was Computex) CES could never in a million years be as interesting as Computex.

It indeed has been bit boring to watch. I'm not that interested about laptops, phones or even monitors at the moment so I straight skip those. The new Enermax fans looked interesting and I still have to check what Roccat is cooking. Something I wondered was that AIO coolers for GPUs might be the big thing in PC hardware this year. I mean both EVGA and Corsair have their alternatives for NZXTs to show off.

I am genuinely surprised that there were no R9 390x and GTX 960 announcements. Its kinda weird how Intel went all out showing off holograms and drones, but Nvidia and AMD were just sitting there twiddling their thumbs. Am I the only one disappointed?

IDK man i thought that Macbook dock was pretty cool, even if it isn't applicable to me. I can't wait till someone copies it for some windows ultrabook or other.

Specs: 4790k | Asus Z-97 Pro Wifi | MX100 512GB SSD | NZXT H440 Plastidipped Black | Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler | MSI 290x Lightning | EVGA 850 G2 | 3x Noctua Industrial NF-F12's

Corsair is overrated, and Anime is ruined by the people who watch it
