sorry but i had already posted this question on one of my old topics but because i already had choosen the best answer no one answerd ;( 

but will the 380x be about the peformance of an 290 and will it be worth waiting if so instead of buying a 290 now becuase i know from the last topic

that the 390x is going to be expensive$$$

380x will probably be better than the 290 but much more expensive (just my guess). Don't know for sure yet as there's basically no information about it. 

 

For 1080p a 290 will be fine for a long time, so if you have the money to buy it now, get it.

Im going to say the R9 390x is going to be about the same a the GTX980 and the 390 is going to be between the 970 and 980 in price

also They cant get much worse in the power and heat performance so I see a much cooler and more power efficient card coming with better overclock ability  and better performance

If anything the R9 380X would be on the level of the R9 290X otherwise who would buy it instead of just getting the last gen card for cheap?
