“Grand Theft Auto 5” will launch for the PC Jan. 27, and a recent Facebook post confirmed Auckland, New Zealand-based software developer and technical artist Hayssam Keilany is working on an ICEnhancer mod for “GTA 5.”

“We gotta see what the PC will offer, It might not require much editing in terms of shaders and stuff but mostly artistic changes to fit everyone's taste,” Keilany said in a post on Wednesday. “Expect to see dark, unsaturated, shiny cars preset and oversaturated, matte cars presets, etc.”

If I remember correctly, Rockstar came out and said those were NOT the specs. Specification details have not been leaked by Rockstar. So I highly doubt that they will be the finalised specifications. I want them to be as it would mean the game is really optimised, but I highly doubt it.

OT: This will make GTA V look even more Bad-Ass. It was already a beautiful game to begin with. This will just bring it one step closer to being so much more that it deserves.

A big off topic, but I find it interesting why it still isn't purchasable on Steam.

Normally games are available months before the game is released.

Not always. As a recent example Ground Zeroes wasn't available to purchase until the day it went on sale. In fact there are several games coming in Jan alone that you can't pre-order on Steam. It just depends on what the publisher wants to do.

Its using an engine thats been proven on PC, and the console launches are out of the way.

I'm sure they are devoting all resources to make a perfect PC launch.

They have the perfect opportunity to garner a greater following on PC, and show us that the botched launches of 2014 are a thing of the past.

True true but I am just a little on edge after the great many of Unfinished Launches in 2014

But I should be amazing cant wait to be a elephant driving a car LOL

I wonder if I can run it. I can run Crysis 3 at Ultra preset quite well, so presumably.

Don't get me wrong, crysis 3 is a beautiful and demanding title that does bring systems to their knees, but imo there are new games that set new standards for graphical fidelity and intensive requirements. Namely far cry 4 (imo the best looking game I have ever played) and I've yet to try the vanishing of Ethan carter, but I've heard it's incredibly good looking.

Although I will agree with your original sentiment. Being able to run crysis 3 at ultra should definitely mean you can play this.
