Hi. I am building a new computer and since I don't know enough I got my friend to help me pick out some pieces. I have a hard drive and 8GB of RAM already but here is the rest of the pieces.

I don't have much money so can't go really spend more but all I really need is confirmation that everything will work and fit right.

Thank you.

Yah it will work but I would probably go with a higher power supply, maybe like 550 to 600 watt just to be on the safe side. Also make sure its a good brand like seasonic or corsair. Other then that it looks good. What is your budget?

Well originally my budget was £400 but I was able to increase it too £460. Also any links to what you suggest would be greatly appreciated to ensure I don't buy the wrong thing.

Upgrade that powersupply to a CX600.  You will be glad you did that later on...

... if he decide to put another hd7870 inside. But since volcanic islands are on the way, i doubt anyone want hindered performance, heat and noise in their case. Not to mention hd 9000 series will need less power.

It looks solid. I'm not sure if you'll be able to overclock fully with a cx430 though. I'd get a xfx 450w or cx500 to be safe--maybe a cx600 if it's not too much more expensive.

I would check out PCpartpicker.com just to see about saving money on the system, currently has a ton of sites it compares prices on parts to.
