Australia really has a thing for crazy cars it seems.

About the burning out. Drag racing a big rig is kind of...boring. Unless it's this thing

 

You can't see it, but the trees behind the truck are bent over almost completely. I was there to see this thing go down the run way (not in this video though).

 

Funny side note, after he went down the track, a scooter drove across where he had been firing up the afterburner and it's wheels started smoking.

At the least, we can both settle for having bigger balls than the Europeans, at least our race tracks don't have sound limits, which is the most retarded thing ever.

Because they're "civilized".

 

If you can't hear it before you see it, what's the point. I'd love to live within earshot of a race track, I love the noise of a roaring V8.

 

Also, if I remember correctly, their "top fuel" dragsters only have V6's for some reason.
