Is anyone excited for Inquisition?  Are you pre-ordering it?  I want to pre-order it, but number 2 was disappointing in my opinion.  Is anyone else at this crossroads?  Do you think EA will finally release a product that's not full of issues?(i.e. bf4)

No. I liked first DA but I dont care about this at all. It doesent apeal to me one bit. I am waiting only for Witcher III now.

 

And I never preorder also. I dont think it has any benefits.. in fact I see only negatives if the game suck.

Hated the last one. Bout the only game reviewer I trust atm is AngryJoe. He said the game is awesome. I will give it a try. Also the optimization is already much better than anything by Ubisoft. You can run much higher settings on the PC if you have the hardware. Mantle runs flawlessly on Sniper Elite 3 on my Tri-X.

 

4X SMAA can be done on one card, when you can't do freakin FXAA well on AC Unity. Add to that EA released this game like a couple weeks early or something, while the bad games, or poorly optimized games are embargoed.

 

Game can be run over 100 FPS at low settings.Scales well. Right click page for translation.

I get 35-45 FPS with Max out slider except MSAA at zero. I get smooth >60fps with a mixed of High and Very High settings. Enjoying the game so much right now. This game use around 2.5GB VRAM even without AA.

 

Don't know how to enable Console to check on the FPS while using Mantle.

Just download fraps and run it before launching the game. FPS counter will be at top left. :)

Dragon age is one of my favorite series, next to The Witcher and Mass Effect.

 

I'm currently in the middle of playing DA2, so once I finish that I'll pick up Inquisition.

Didn't know Fraps can show FPS when using Mantle. I thought it's only for DirectX games.

 

I read in reddit about using console command to enable frame counter similar to BF4 but he didn't teach how.  :lol:

How is the game so far? AngryJoe was saying much more like the early game than the last one (which is what I am hoping for).

Loved the first one, never played the second (didnt appeal to men) and am interested in how this one is I hear its pretty good so I was like "what the hell" and preorderd it...I dont to that often

Can anyone verify this? I wont find out until I get home from work today....

 

DA2 wasnt that bad people! Remember DA:O playing Sten and Oghren? The battle was over before they swung thier 2H swords. DA2's combat was lightning fast and more exciting! 7.5 more hours to go to try Inquisition for myself!!

ARE THEY FUCKING KIDDING WITH THESE CONTROLS!?!?!? Hold Left click to Auto attack??? Jesus fucking Christ this is annoying as fuck. NOTHING like DA:O and DA2. Auto loot is gone. click to move and collect is gone. So far Im kinda pissed. I have no controller cause I play on a PC!

 

If you played the first two all month in anticipation for the 3rd, you are in for a real treat....

 

The loading times suck dick too and no more corn rolls for hair. Now Tyree has to have a high top fade!

ty Sir for the tip. was new to me April of this year.

 

I saw some chart on some website today stating a 280X can handle this game on untra with ease. yes i got the beta drivers. clearly that site was wrong.
