DX12 ONLY ON WIN 10

silenthill_69

Is the upcoming DX12 to be used as a tool by Microsoft to force us to upgrade to WIN10 as the company knows that over 50% of today’s users love& use WIN7 and with the bad reception of WIN8 forcing Microsoft to give it for free to some tablet manufactures and the disaster sales of its surface tablets is this the last attempt to make people switch knowing that most gamers use WIN 7 as a preferred OS and will NVIDIA & AMD be quiet as they know it will be a double upgrade for users who wish to buy their newer GPUs and take advantage of the DX12 features in the upcoming game engines.

God dammit.

Ola Englund does not approve of your hashtags. Sleep is for the weak, insomnia builds character.

As you are reading this you are slowly traveling forwards in time to where you will get out of the time machine and continue to read posts. Too spookyfor100me.

People loved XP, but they still only released a DX for Vista and 7. They add a new DX for every new OS. It's nothing new. And most people love 10 anyways. Also old news. Stop complaining.

Ehhh... I'll have to move to windows 8/10 eventually. New operating system just causes issues with games, let the headaches begin.

I don't get the issues with leaving Windows 7... Evolve and adapt people! Evolve and adapt...

the issue is not leaving win7 but to force you to it in this evil way if they had made a good OS with win8 people would have moved with pleasure like you say evolve for the better not the worse

Its part of evolution. You cant expect it to be a smooth transition. They have their reasons.

Also, "IF they have made a good OS" if you mean Windows 8/10 was/is bad. Well, that's your opinion, I personally love that the start menu is gone. Performance improvements and the like are worth it.

They aren't forcing you to do anything though. Devs still support DX 9 and 10. They'll support 11 for a while too.

Thats quite wrong. Windows XP was a piece of shit OS on release. After 20 million patches and updates, it became stable. Windows Vista as well, shit on release, and then became stable, windows 7 was also a pile of shit, its become alot better with updates and driver adaptations. Windows 8 was a far better release than 7, just many people couldnt adapt.
