ThyFeared

I'm starting to suspect that ubi wanted to be bethesda but overshot it by miles.

Expecting their community to fix their game

"Here's some interesting news, there is a rumor...."
"There is a rumor from an undisclosed reliable source..." turns out it was completely wrong, tons of times. He takes rumors as news and makes click bait out of it, and then goes on about he doesn't talk about stupid rumors.

Also some of his opinions on stuff are very flaky. for one, pc master race, ps3 master race, pc master race, ps3 master race, etc.

Rumour is false anyways

Digital Foundry:

An interesting thread has emerged on Reddit, suggesting that taking the PlayStation 4 version of Assassin's Creed Unity offline "fixes the frame-rate issue". We're going to look into whether being online or offline has any impact on performance, and we're also going to test co-op gameplay on both Xbox One and PS4 for the upcoming Face-Off, but in the here and now, we can confirm that both performance analysis tests on this page were carried out with the day one patch installed but with both consoles running offline.

I couldn't even launch Watchdogs with Uplay online. I will get AC Unity for the 2015 summer sale when it is $20 or if I get it for free with the second 970 that I plan on purchasing for the holidays. It looks appealing and possibly very beautiful if it would just run! If I can can run it with 2 970s in SLI, I sure will. I just wish that Ubisoft would get their act together so it wouldn't have to be this way. They have the capability to make great games. I really believe they do. It just upsets me that, although they can, they are in it more so for the money and will take payments from the console manufacturers to purposely cripple PC performance instead of trying to appeal to the consumer. Shame on you Ubi. You aren't even worthy of the negative attention that you have received.

Does anyone think that "E3" graphics settings will once again be found? I'm looking forward to a mod like the Worst's for ACU if possible.

Here's a theory: Maybe Ubi did this on purpose so they could later on sell 60/120 fps as DLCs....

HAHAHAHAHAH

made my day

muh specs

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it.

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff.

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

Okay, if anything, I'm getting a feeling now that future E3 demos will be viewed with mass skepticism and grains of salts. Ubisoft is single handedly ruining E3.

The problem is that this is an nVidia product and scoring any nVidia product a "zero" is also highly predictive of the number of nVidia products the reviewer will receive for review in the future.

You apparently haven't seen his responses to questions on YouTube. He is very condescending and aggressive in his comments with which there is little justification. His endless dick jokes and toilet humor are annoying as well.

The AC: Unity FPS issues have been resolved by the community in less than 48 Hours.

Here is a video explaining more into it (If this is advertising please tell me I will instantly remove this)

Apparently going into Offline mode for PS4 helps with FPS increase (not a full fix)

PC fix is turning off Internet to play.

EDIT: @Sidiox Found the Article! http://www.gamepur.com/news/16952-working-fix-assassins-creed-unity-fps-issues-ps4-and-pc-discovered-put-your.html

I'd rather see some video evidence rather than people just saying it works. Though it does seem plausible if people were speculating correctly that its because of constant network checking for the companion app or for micro transactions.

THIS!!

Intel i5 4670K | Asus z97 Deluxe | MSI GTX 1060 (6GB) | 16GB Corsair Vengeance |

120GB Samsung EVO - 480GB OCZ Solid III - 1.5TB Seagate Barracuda  | Corsair AX760

Razer Blackwidow Ultimate | Razer Ouroboros
