Raptor might be my favorite because it is a fucking track monster. Want to say it has like 660HP? and yet its just 20 seconds slower around the Nürburgring than the Mustang GT which is no handling slouch and cranks out something like 760HP. The grip and the ability to send it through corners is mad.

This isn't really PC gaming, but there's something interesting about the next few screenshots I've got coming up:

Do you guys remember SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated? It launched back in June 2020 for PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC. As it turns out, it got a very recent port to iOS and Android! Now, a few things to note here:

  • It costs $8.99USD on both app stores. That's a bit steep for a mobile game, but this is the full fat experience. Legitimately.
  • This version of the game has a selectable form of video options for resolution, graphical fidelity, anti-aliasing and frame rate! My phone (an iPhone SE 2020) defaulted to high everything and the 60fps target.
  • Loading is insanely quick on my phone. Genuinely on-par with it being thrown onto my PC's NVMe SSD in terms of loading times.
  • I didn't play much of it, either, but for the 5 or so minutes I did play of it, the controls are surprisingly good. Platformers don't tend to work on phones, especially platformers like BfBB, but the controls are surprisingly good here.

Truth be told, this game running at high on my phone looks way better than it does on the Switch, lol.

A couple more screenshots and some explanation of how Battle for Bikini Bottom on iOS handles things:

image0.png

image1.png

  • This game has an options menu with adjustable graphics settings... unlike the PC version, where you're 100% stuck on the equivalent of this game's Epic settings internally. I mentioned it in my first screenshot dump, but I have some more information:
  • Low graphical settings more or less runs the game like it runs on the Nintendo Switch, perhaps a little worse looking. Low resolution sets the game's resolution to what appears to be 40% of the device's native resolution. No antialiasing... disables this game's FXAA pass of anti-aliasing.
  • Medium graphical settings looks slightly better, with the medium resolution option appearing to run at a 60% resolution scale. Low antialiasing uses a low quality pass of FXAA.
  • High is the sweet spot for everything here, as it looks markedly better than Medium does overall while not being as generally "diminishing returns"-esque as Epic can be here. Most everything here (namely textures and model quality are of higher quality here, with High antialiasing offering a better pass of FXAA than low. High resolution sets the game to run at what appears to be either 80% or 83% of your device's native resolution. I strongly recommend using the high resolution option instead of Epic as, on my phone at least, there really wasn't much difference in overall clarity.
  • Epic settings here are still a step down from the PS4, Xbox One and PC's settings predominately in post-processing (or the lack of certain particle effects and the lack of depth of field) and texture quality, but are still a step up from high here. Epic resolution sets the resolution to your device's native resolution here. Epic antialiasing offers an even better pass of FXAA here.

I found a bug for to enter in Arasaka Industrial Park without problem (no mod or crack the game, 100% legit). All soldiers and all robots become green status (it means safe). So I walk to the tank to crack without problem :old-laugh: And I got reputation reward after doing this :old-cool: So I made screenshots for fun :old-tongue:

How is the game?  I loved the early MOH games.  Specially AA.  It's what got me into PC gaming.  The later ones were trash.
